“Fat bottomed girls, they’ll be riding today”

We Ride is bicycle and film festival held every summer at the Rotondes in Luxembourg. I was asked to create the visual identity for the festival in 2016 and 2017, but decided to show only the 2017 one, as I feel the colors work better and the changes to the design are only minimal. When I was asked to do the project, I immediately know how I wanted it to look. I wanted to give it kind of a movie poster feel (as it is a also a film festival), and put the focus on the bike chain, melting away in the summer heat.
